Stickupderville represents a “countryside of the future”. Doormats cover the ground as fields, and air fresheners are grouped together in housing estates and shopping malls. What's more, a smoke generator sprays a sort of mist from time to time, giving the whole thing a visual impression of freshness... The whole thing gives the impression of flying over a totally artificial countryside, reeking of atmosphere and ultimately as stifling as an over-deodorized, completely sanitized interior. This countryside has no visible inhabitants except for autonomous vacuum cleaners, the ZA2 trilobites. They are a kind of robot from the future, whose mission is to inspect everything around them and make sure the site is clean.
