Chamarande estate park, around Pascal Rivet's “Concession” exhibition.

As part of a 'Family Sunday', and in connection with Pascal Rivet's exhibition 'Concession' and his exploration of the link between human beings and their work tools, I suggest walking the course of a tractor ploughing a field. On a delimited surface in Chamarande park, I mark out a series of lanes indicating the path of the vehicle. The ground is criss-crossed, the green space turned into a huge waiting line. Walkers progress at a slow and regular pace, questioning our relationship to time. Just like Pascal Rivert does when he makes wooden tractors, the apparent aimlessness of the walk questions utilitarianism and simulacra.
