Enamelled ceramic / 90 x 35 x 25 cm |

Soil-less is a glazed ceramic sculpture of a young man wearing a virtual reality headset. The technology represented in the sculpture contrasts with the manual, artisanal aspect of its workmanship, making it a hybrid character born of this confrontation. In the image of “Soil-less” crops, where natural-looking plants are grown in an artificial environment, the character gives the contradictory feeling of being present yet external to the events surrounding him.
