Black hole, 2015

Recessed into the wall to form a black hole, Black hole is an engraved sunglass in which a play of light is reflected. Depending on the viewpoint, optical effects reflect mathematical curves such as infinity, Pascal's snail (le limaçon de Pascal), the four-pointed rosette... The sunscreen, though protective, seems to draw us in.
